The DQ03 brake of the DQxy certified series is mounted in gearless G400 T3 produced from 01/03/2020, and replaces the DF04 brake.

The DQXY braking system is a service and safety brake, certified as a safety brake against uncontrolled movements (UCM) and upward overspeed of the cabin (ACOP) (Liftinstituut certification (Holland) No. NL17-400-1002-243 -01) according to the European Directive 2014/33 / EU.
The DQXY system was designed, developed and manufactured entirely by Alberto Sassi technicians to reduce dimensions and optimize braking torques.
The brake is modular: the mechanical elements (braking disk, thrust disk , thrust springs ..) and electric (coil body, micro contacts ...) are common and are combined together to obtain the various braking torque required.
Available in three sizes:
- DQ01: module with 1 braking disk
- DQ02: module with 2 brake discs
- DQ03: module with 3 brake discs
The opening of the brake, during the handling of the system, is ensured by 4 coils connected to each other in series and pair. However, the electrical output connection to the terminal block is made in parallel to ensure shutdown even in the presence of only half working brake (test required for various approvals).
The nominal continuous supply voltages (DC) of the DFX system are:
205V - 180V -104V - 60V - 48V
To improve precision and robustness of the rotating parts, the system is coupled directly to the machine shaft by means of grooved profiles, thus avoiding the interposition of adapter bushes.
The DQXY braking system normally operates with an electromagnetic release which, however, in an emergency, can be changed to manual through the opening of special nuts (standard equipment).
The particularly compact design of the DFXY system also allows the possibility, upon request, to mount a manual release lever, the simple installation of which can be done before, during or after mounting the machine on the system.
