The DFHY braking system is a service and safety brake, certified as a safety brake against uncontrolled upward movement of the cabin (TUV certification No. EDPS 018/1).
The DFHY system was designed, developed and manufactured entirely by Alberto Sassi technicians to reduce dimensions.
The Brake is modular: the mechanical elements (braking disk, thrust disk , thrust springs ..) and electric (coil body, micro contacts ...) are common and are combined together to obtain the various braking torque required.
Available in three sizes:
- DFH1: module with 1 braking disk
- DFH2: module with 2 brake discs
- DFH3: module with 3 brake discs
The dimensions are minimal and we have chosen to develop the length maintaining a constant width of 205 mm useful for the most compact MRL installations.
The brake is opened using 2 coils and the electrical connection is in parallel to ensure that each brake is independent (test required for various approvals).
The nominal continuous supply voltages (DC) of the DFX system are:
205V - 180V -104V - 60V - 48V
To improve precision and robustness of the rotating parts, the system is coupled directly to the machine shaft by means of grooved profiles, thus avoiding the interposition of adapter bushes.
The DFHY braking system normally operates with an electromagnetic release which, however, in emergency, can be changed to manual through the opening of special nuts (standard equipment).
On request, it is possible to mount a manual release lever whose simple installation can be done before, during or after the machine is mounted on the system.
